DeSmuME Version 0.7.2

DeSmuME is a freeware emulator for the Nintendo DS originally created by YopYop156. DeSmuME is also known as YopYop DS is written in C++ for Microsoft Windows and can play Nintendo DS homebrew and commercial NDS roms. The emulator its self is in French (with user translations to English and other languages). But even French version of DeSmuME is easy to navigate through menus as it has a similar users interface to DSemu. It supports many homebrew NDS ROM demos as well as a handful of Wireless Multiboot demo NDS roms. DeSmuME is also able to emulate some of the commercial NDS ROM titles which other DS Emulators like iDeaS and Dualis aren't capable of doing so.

After the original author was forced to abandon the project, a team of developers have continued making releases.

DSemu (Discontinued)

DSemu is an emulator written by Imran Nazar, and will eventually emulate a Nintendo DS on many platforms.

I lost my development box yesterday. None of the DSemu source files or past versions were stored on the box's hard drive, but I did lose the compilation environment, and a nice P3-600. It looks like some of the motherboard tracks are fried; not much I can do. Which means I can't work on DSemu anymore. It looks like .03c is the last release. Don't worry, though; I'll start on a dynamic-recompiling ARM core, so my P166 can get useful output. And I might even make a start on that set of 'how to make an emulator' tutorials. At least I don't have to play catch-up to Dualis anymore. Thanks for all the support, everyone, it's been much appreciated.

Notes:
NDS ROMs Emu DS emulator is a program you run on your computer that allows you to run other programs meant for a different computer, video game console or another operating system. An emulator is a program that allows one computer platform (example PC with Windows and Mac) to mimic another for the purposes of running its software - in our case Games = DS roms. Here are some Nintendo DS NDS Emulator available for download (NDS Emulation does not work with commercial nds roms yet) so dont email us about it. To find some utilities for the NDS Emulator and NDS Roms you can go under the NDS Flash Linker section.
